Stink bugs
Where do they come from?
As fall approaches, adult stink bugs leave their feeding sites in search of a place to overwinter. Unfortunately, they frequently select homes. From the end of September through October, Stink Bugs will start entering homes, buildings, or other structures. Male Stink Bugs release a pheromone that attracts other Stink Bugs to the location. Large numbers of Stink Bugs will aggregate together in homes and when disturbed will produce a foul odor. Fortunately they pose no threat to human or animal health inside the home. What do I do?
These bugs are only trying to escape the cold so making sure you have good seals on your doors and windows is the best place to start. Siding and other holes around the house are another good place to look. We can also help maintain and keep the bugs out year round.
